hi guys,

hope any of you gals who have kids had a great mothers day!!!!!!!!

today i did all the things for myself that i needed to do.

i went down to the nursing home where my dad died in feb 2004, it felt weird but i also had a strange sense of peace too.
i also threw away the letter i wrote to the person who crashed into me 14 months ago.
i've been in theraphy since the crash and my therapist asked me to write the letter, hoping it would open up the anger i felt for the woman who ran the lights and crashed into me,and it did somewhat, but i stupidly kept the letter and reread it a few weeks ago and it started me off again...
but today i threw it into the sea...and asked my hp to remove my anger towards this person.

i also brought my mam and hubby and son out for a meal in a beautiful country pub....and we all had a great day.
so all in all i really looked after my emotional wellbeing today.

keeping the focus on us is hard, but the benifits of it sure is worth it.

love in recovery,
irish
