I'm Mary and I'm an alcoholic. "HI MARY"

One of my glaring Character Defects is out to kill me. The defect lies low- and isolates... it's called LAZINESS. Now that I have some sobriety-time beneath my belt I'm not hittin enough meetings..in fact if it weren't for my monthly H&I meeting at the County Jail- I wouldn't be going to meetings at all.

Enough outta me-

I know what I gotta do- ask my Higher Power to give me strength to do His Will. I know that when I finally decided to crawl through the doors of AA people were there for ME...now it's MY TURN to be there for others who suffers.

Hi Mary,
There are alot of people out there that are just like you. People are there to care and be there for you. Meetings are a great place to be because you share a bond that is like no other. You get support when you need it. Before I go to a meeting I ask God to give me something out of this meeting that I can use. And He usually gives me so many things that I need. Hang in there and everything will work out just the way it is suppose to. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God's world without a reason.

Hi Mary
My name is Pam and I am an alcoholic.
Lawdy do I identify with you. I am so lazy sometimes and then other
times I run around like the "white rabbit" always on my way to my next
important date.
Right now I am procrastinating. I am suppose to be studying but I don't
like what I have to read so I am putting it off.
I have a lot of sobriety and I have never completely figured out how to combat it except to ask my HP to help me get done the things I have to get done.
I guess you an I will just keep trudging the road to happy destiny.
I think that's exactly why they used the word trudging.
