Hi, my name is Don and I am an alcoholic. I have not had a drink of alcolhol or any other mood changing chemicals since May 15, 1977. I have been trying to find my spiritual path for the last 30 years (at least). I have tried several churches and spiritual philosophies, but none ever seem to fit. I believe the references to God in the big book, such as "God is either everything or He is nothing" and "We found that Great Reality deep inside us". But, I always felt like I needed more. Last year a friend gave me a book titled "Conservations with God", by Neale Donald Walsh. The spiritual principles presented in this book seem to fit me to a tee, and they are not far removed from AA spiritual principles. Now here is my question. Is there any other sober alcoholics out there that have read the CWG book(s)? Actually there are about 6 I think. And if you have read them would you like to open a discussion with me about the spiritual principles contained therein?
Don D.
