I'm having a pretty day today but I'm going to try and be in the live chat around 9:00 PM CDT, stop in and check it out.

I know that I am a new member who stays in the UK but on all the occasions that I have been here there has never been anyone here. The last posting time here was at 4.30pm. what time IS this? USA time or Greenich? At present my clock shows 21.30 hours (9.30pm) what time do I have to visit to have a chance seeing someone? Or is this site of no use to me because of location? If not I will have to try and find one that has UK time period use.

Hi, I'd love to chat w/somebody. New kid on the block. Will enjoy the company

I didn't think anybody was ever going to use this chat room. You are not an addict. You're Somebody....who likes to have more than enough. I am starting Al-anon today, with hopes of understanding why more than enough is not enough. When someone you love is addicted, it hurts deeply knowing they can't/won't stop. I hope you continue to hand in one-day-at-a-time.and I will join that hope and believe that soon you and my alcoholic family member will become AA survivors.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I have never had the desire, so it is very difficult for me to understand how addition can possess the inner being. I'm hoping Al-anon will put some closure to some of the questions I have about addition.

Got to go to the meeting now. Hope to chat with you again.
