Hi,
I am a 50 yr old female living in MD and married to a alcholic, I need help. I love him dearly he was my soulmate. He didin't drink for about 10 years then got in a crowd that started him again. He drank every weekend and got wasted. He was mentally and physically abusive at times. About a month ago he admitted he needed help. He did real good for about a month then thanks to some of his friends started again.
I don't which way to turn He says he loves me dearly but why does he treat me like I am no one as if he doesn't care. I'm afraid to say much to him because he jumps back at me.
I have no one I can talk to family member or friend is there anyone that could meet me in a chat room during the day. I have so much to let out.

Thanks for listining

Hi, Kitty! Welcome!

You're welcome to use our forums here to talk to people. We also have an email Al-Anon meeting but people are often very quiet on that list. You can subscribe from this page:

http://www.onlinealano.org/html/meetings.html

I'd also suggest the main Al-Anon web site. Perhaps there's a meeting near you:

http://www.al-anon.org

And, there are other online email and chat meetings that can be found through this web site:

Thanks you for the warm welcome and the suggested help.
Is there ever anyone in the chat room ?
Thanks

Yes! I'm there right now! Yesterday there were three people there for a couple of hours.

People wander in and out.

The best thing is to log into the chat room and just leave it open on your computer. You'll be able to hear when someone enters. Then, you've caught them! And can chat away.

Thank You, Dean I'll give that a try. I have a few questions that I would like some advice on.
