I've been away from A.A for a while now, would like to hear from some people that are in kind of the same boat, or in any boat if it's sinking.
Thanks, Michael

Welcome Home,
I just got back myself. Things are going pretty well, but I had to jump in full speed. I go to 2 meetings a day and do alot of reading. Mostly "Living Sober" right now trying to stay that way. I got a new sponsor and she is working out well. The thing that everyone says is " at least you came back". Everyone is glad that I came back and these are people that didn't even know me.
They say you can't go home again, but that is not true, we AA's can always go home. The real trick is not to leave. When I stopped going to meetings, it wasn't to long after that that I went back out!!! I was out for 15 years!!!!!! So don't feel bad. I felt bad when I went to my first meeting, by the time it was done I didn't feel bad, I felt hope!!!!!!!

"But for the Grace of God go I"
Keep coming back,
Ruth R.

I'm sorry didn't get back to you right away but my sponsor called and I had to go on a 12th step call, this one after got there decided he didn't need help, you probably ran across some of those, but after alot of talking (him not us) he decided that maybe he did need help, so all we can see is if he's serious, tonight he said he wanted us to pick him up for a meeting tommorow, You made the right choicre coming back, I almost didn't, but I guess my HP was watching out for me and I made the decision to come back, I was handed a cup of coffee and told welcome home, that was quite a few 24's ago, keep coming back, use the phone, read all you can get your hands on beside the big book I like Experience, Strength and Hope, also Dr. Bob and the good old timers.
Yours in sobriety
Doug C.
