I am currently living with my sister in Riverside Ca. I need to go back to my meetings again I haven't for a year, and last night I blew it, I really need a friend and sponsor or both now! Can anyone help??? Please??

i want to learn more i have feeling i might be alcoholic but not quite sure what are the signs what are symptoms i dont know and because i have alcoholics in the family wonder am i destine to be a drunk or am i social drinking i dont understand and really like to know if im headed down the wrong path please help rvnsings

When I first came to AA I wasn't sure if I was an alcoholic or not either. But I just came to meetings and listened to what the people said and little by little I could identify with them. At first I looked around and could see the difference between me and the "real" alcohlics. I didn't drink like they did and so forth, but I could identfy with the pain. So, just hang out and if AA is for you, you'll figure it out. They used to say that normal people don't wonder if they're alcoholics. Good luck on your journey. Barb

Last month she told me that even though I have been a supportive and loving husband, she has developed feelings for a guy in one of her meetings, some who really understands what she is going through....she left me and I'm devistated.

listen, i'm so new at this site and hardly know what i'm doing but its around midnight and i'm in serious opoid withdrawl and desperately need someone to talk to...i'm hurting and i don't want to pick up. last July I came off of methadone and have been on bupenorphine ever since...now i'm in withdrawl trying to get off of this stuff. there's no easier way i guess ANY WORDS OR HELP?
