I am a master of disquise
I will master my demise. I am a functionist
The depressant has fooled everyone
To believe I only think pleasant thoughts
The alcoholic has fooled everyone
To believe it's just an occasional drink
The drug addict has fooled everyone
To believe it's a thing of the past
The good mother has fooled herself
To believe is doesn't effect her child
How does one so clever seek help
When no one knows there's a problem
How does one come clean
without risking the lose of her child
To take off the mask
I fear the revelation gives little to gain
Much to lose
I should have been an actress
For this play of deception must go on
And the script will die with me
