I haven't been here in quite awhile. I just wanted to stop in and say hello, I celebrated a year sober on Oct.25. The thing that I have learned and my experience is that the most important thing in my life is staying sober. I have learned that I can handle anything sober and I can stay sober through anything.
with the help of the fellowship and the steps I have realized that the sober life is the best life there is. If anyone who is reading this and is strugling with wanting to drink you just don't have to drink, there is hope and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi there

I'm new to the forum and open discussion.. but I'm an alcoholic that needs to connect. I am living in the mountains.. where there is two meetings a week. but can get to others with a half hour drive. Have lots of years.. but have recently retired.. moving .. to another country after I sell my house and really having to dig into program to keep anxiety and fear out of my life. Greatful for my sobriety that is allowing me to make change. Lots of changes in my life. It's a full moon tonight and I am not drinking. wow. anybody out there tonight.
