I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR A.A. I HAVE ALWAYS FELT LIKE AN OUTSIDER EVERWHERE I HAVE EVER GONE. I COULD BE IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE AND FEEL SO LONLEY, LIKE I DIDNT HAVE A FRIEND IN THE WORLD. NOW I DO, THE FEELING I GET IN MEETINGS IS WONDERFUL, I FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTAND ME, AND WILL TALK TO ME AND CARE. PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE HAVE BECOME MY FRIENDS AND I FEEL PROUD TO HAVE THEM. TRUE HAPPINESS HAS ALWAYS ELUDED ME AND PERHAPS ALWAYS WILL BUT I WILL ALWAYS HAVE SOMEPLACE TO BELONG. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I to had all those feelings of not belonging, feeling like I just was not good enough. I did not have close friends because if let you get to know me you would not like me. When I came to AA all that changed. Not over night, but it still changed. I remember one night in my prayers I thanked God for my life. Wow was that a shocker.
The fellowship of AA has given much more to me than I ever thought it would. The fellowship is what has kept me around in the rooms of AA and in life. I have learned to be a friend and how except friendship back.
When they said to me "Keep Coming Back" they meant it.
