Hi my name is jake.
A little background on me:
I'm fifteen years young. I've been clean currently 56 days. I'm on Juvenile Parole. I've been to juvenile detention and then eventually to juvenile Prison in phoenix,az. i've been using for about 3-4 years now. I recently came to Omaha, Nebraska to get a new start. I live with my father who is in the program and has five years sober, and my stepmom who has eight years sober. I go to meetings regularly. I'm currently looking for a sponsor which i think is gonna get taken care of thursday but i'm living in today as i've been told to do.
Lately i've been really thinking about using/drinking. I'm in high school and everyday theres this one fellow who always is asking me to go get drunk/high with him.... And its starting to look real good. i mean i always say no, but lately SLOWLY its been creeping into my mind.... i need some help please

Hi, Jake, and welcome to the forums.

In between meetings, and until Thursday, I'd say call the Omaho AA office if you fee yourself slipping away. I'd bet there's 24-hour help available. Until then, just grit your teeth and hang in there. A lot of people go out one last time thinking they'll start again "tomorrow," and they never make it back.
