Hi, I’m Jacqui, and I’m just getting started with joining AA and other support groups. I’m in college so staying sober is very challenging and I thought that joining an online group would be another great way to surround myself with encouragement and help. So please email me anytime and if anyone has any pointers or tips on how to use this site most effectively would be helpful.

Well, as for getting started, these forums are good -- but there are other things to do if you're looking for more immediate feedback and responses, especially email meetings, or chat meetings.

The AA email meeting here at the club is farily active and doesn't generate a lot of mail. You can subscribe by following the directions on this page: http://www.onlinealano.org/html/meetings.html

Also, for a list of hundreds of online meetings, try the Online Intergroup directories: http://www.aa-intergroup.org
