Hi everyone, my name is Joy, and I am an alcoholic-addict who is married to another alcoholic. I am approaching four years clean and sober, three years married, and 45 years of co dependancy....In our family we also have a 24 year old daughter recently released from prison for drugs ...we all live in the same house, so needless to say at times it gets INSANE! I was referred to alanon in hopes that as well as working my own recovery program, I can also learn about my codependancy issues and how not to FIX everyone and everything that i come into contact with....just wanted to introduce myself, looking forward to reading some posts and getting to know each of you.
God Bless You and Yours,
Joy

Hi, Joy! Welcome!

These forums can be a bit slow at times. I'd recommend the Al-Anon email meeting we have here at the Online Alano Club. It's quite active, and very informal. Lots of great people. If you'd like to subscribe, you can do so from http://www.onlinealano.org/cgi-bin/mj_wwwusr or you can send me a private message or email, and I'll get you subscribed.
