im new here. on my 6th day sober.i got on here hoping to talk with some people that are dealing with the same pains i am, however so far i haven't. i guess you can say i am beyond computer dumb but if anyone could fill me in on how this all works i would so appreicate it. evertime i go to chat it seems i'm the only one that's there. please help!!!!!!!

I think that the (chat) rooms seem empty because they are. If you would like pm me, we can set up a time to go into the chat rooms and we will have a meeting. Maybe some others will join us.

that would be really good. i go to an aa meeting everyday and in this small town that's all there is unfortunetely but for me i need more. i'm a stay at home mom with six kids so my life is busy which is good but it also comes with alot of stress which just makes me want to go to the liquor store to escape from all of this. that is why i say i need alot more than just one meeting a day. i have tried to find a sponser but all the ones i know have very hecktic and busy lives and i just don't think they will have the time for me, but at the same time i don't want to go backwards either. that's why i got on here hoping i could just get on line and have someone to talk to when i needed but it doesn't seem to work that way. i would just be happy if i had someone that would just text me when they can i know its so much easier than taking the time to talk on the phone, but that's kind of difficult when you dont know anyone. what do you mean pm you?
