Chat and Forums

The Online Alano Club features two lounges, chat and discussion forums. You must register in the discussion forums to be able to post or to use the chat rooms.

Why is registration required? So that we can ensure a safe, pleasant enviornment for fellowship, and so that the abusers, troublemakers, and the like can be banned and reported to their ISPs.

Once you've registered in the forums, you can use this direct link to the chat program.

Important Stuff to Know

Never post your email address, or an email address you intend to keep for a while, in a public chat room or a discussion forum. Spammers will harvest it.

All chat programs — not just ours — have log files. Administrators sometimes read them. Therefore, never post anything in a chat room, even using the "private" function, that should be truly private.

In the Club Lounges, please be courteous. They are meant to be friendly, supportive environments. Any abuse, hate, sexism, racism, pornography, etc., will be deleted as soon as it is found (please report it if you see it). Likewise, any registrations of the offensive person will be deleted, too. There will be no warnings.
