POPPY SEED BREAD FROSTING
Ingredients:
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
Cooking Instructions:
Heat all ingredients to boiling. Pour over Poppy Seed Breakfast Bread loaves while warm. Remove from loaf pans when cool.

OATMEAL CAKE TOPPING
Ingredients:
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons butter
1/4 cup cream or milk (Half & Half is good)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Cooking Instructions:
Cook for 3 or 4 minutes: brown sugar, butter, cream or milk and vanilla. Add coconut and nuts to mixture and beat. Spread on cake while hot.

This is the topping for the OATMEAL CAKE recipe in
the cake section or for any German Chocolate cake.
